Jen Hewett is a printmaker, surface designer, textile artist and teacher living in San Francisco with her dog Gus. A lifelong Californian, Jen combines her love of bold prints and saturated colors with the textures and light of California landscapes to create highly tactile, visually layered, printed textiles.
For Imagined Landscapes, her first-ever fabric collection, Jen drew inspiration from her daily walks in and around Golden Gate Park, simplifying the surrounding flora and landscapes into quirky, geometric shapes. A printmaker by training, Jen began her design process for this collection by hand printing with the collection of blocks she’s carved over the years, playing with layout and color as she worked.
This canvas is 55% linen and 45% cotton, 44″/45″ wide, and has metallic accents.
