The Worsley Wallet is engineered so you can make an accordion purse on a domestic machine with ease! A beautiful, strappy clutch wallet that can be used as a coin purse and phone wallet, or add on a shoulder strap and it becomes a striking evening bag.
The Worsley Wallet is perfect for carrying your essentials; it features 6 credit card slots, a zipped change pocket, a pocket for notes and a pocket for your XL phone. A feature flap closes with an ingenious strap keeper fastening method. With options to add a wrist strap, shoulder or arm chain, this wallet covers all your needs.
Diane will demonstrate each stage of the purse construction at a pace to suit the class, with the goal to complete a wallet within the full day class – some of you may finish early and start another, others might have to finish at home if newer to sewing, but you will have lots of fun and will have all the skills necessary to make this purse by the end of the day.
It’s such a fun make. Once you have made one, you won’t be able to stop.
Approximate finished dimensions: 20 x 12cm (8 x 4.5”). Class includes pattern.
About your teacher: Diane has a degree in fashion manufacture, and has worked in clothing and accessory production and fashion buying all her life. She has traveled the world in search of good textile factories and has worked with them on design and production for UK retailers. Diane has created handmade bags for pleasure for many
years and they have been featured on the pages of Marie Claire, Vogue and Tattler magazines. Two years ago Diane decided to pursue her dream and leave her commercial production/design career to focus on full time bag pattern designing under her own Spencer Ogg label. She is also now proud to be a sewing ambassador for Janome UK. Diane designs bag and accessory patterns from her studio in Manchester, for beginner to intermediate level sewers, and tries to ensure that her instructions are clear and precise with lots of colour photos, so anyone can just pick up one of her patterns and have a go.
