NEW STYLE! These attach with a very professional looking back plate with screws that lock into threads on the front plate. Very reliable and easy to attach. These are very high quality and won’t disappoint. Please note that we have changed the name from “Edgwena” to “Edge Connectors” to differentiate the old style from the new style. They look exactly the same from the front, are the exact same size, but have a very professional grade textured design on the back removable plate. These are very easy to install! The “Edge Connector” strap anchors sit on the top edge of your tote bags. Thick, quality hardware, for trendy in style totes. They make a very neat & clean bag strap attachment. Make a trendy new tote in fabric, vinyl, leather, or canvas, and use these lovelies to attach your bag straps.
The strap ring is just under 1″ (inside) across the top, so these would work well with either 1″ or 3/4″ straps & bag handles.
Each anchor comes assembled with 2 screws. Tip: Make sure you stabilize the insertion area on your fabric so that it is strong and durable (peltex or similar between layers). Remove the 2 screws and back plate. Use the back plate to mark holes, and a leather punch to cut holes the same size as the threaded “columns”. Use glue on the inside of the connector and back plate, and a thread locking liquid like “loctite” to keep screws secure.

Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Friday are shipped the same day. Orders placed after 1pm Monday to Friday are shipped the next working day.
Please note that during exceptionally busy times (eg Black Friday sales, birthday sales, etc) orders will take longer to ship than usual.
We ship with Royal Mail both in the UK and internationally. Occasionally for international parcels over UPS we may need to ship with UPS or another company.
We charge a flat rate delivery fee of £3.00 for delivery in the UK for orders less than £45.
Orders over £45 for UK delivery qualify for free shipping.
International orders are charged at a flat rate delivery fee of £10 for shipping worldwide.
Next day delivery is available for a flat rate fee of £9.00.
Local orders can be collected. If your postcode is local the 'Local Pickup' option will be available at checkout. When you receive an email saying your order has been completed this is when it is ready for collection. Parcels can be collected Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
Royal Mail First Class delivery in the UK takes 1-2 working days on average. Royal Mail Second Class delivery in the UK takes 3-5 working days on average.
Royal Mail Next Day Delivery is delivered the next working day before 1pm (some conditions apply).
Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed takes 7-10 days on average. However, parcels are stopped by customs and can take several weeks to clear customs. Your tracking number will be added to your order when it is shipped so you should be able to keep an eye on where your parcel is in the process.
All international orders are NOT charged VAT at checkout and therefore will be stopped at customs and the correct VAT will be charged for your country at that point. We legally have to declare all items in the parcel and the correct invoice total for the parcel.
Please note that this will mean a delay in receiving your parcel as customs can take 1-2 weeks to process a parcel, though it is sometimes faster.

We accept returns of unused, unopened items in saleable condition within 30 days of the order.
We do not accept returns of cut fabric as this has been cut off the bolt specifically for your order.
Please contact us on staff@sewhot.co.uk to let us know if you are returning an item. Return postage is not paid unless the item being returned is faulty or damaged.
We aim to ship all orders placed by 1pm the same day, apart from during busy sale times. Orders are shipped Monday to Friday via Royal Mail. A Local Pickup option is available at checkout for local customers. See the tabs on the left for more detailed shipping and delivery information.
We are always happy to combine, change, or add to orders to help you save on shipping costs.
However, we do ask that you notify us before 12 noon on the day your order is due to ship. After this time it is likely your order will have been packaged and booked for shipping, and we will not be able to change it.
