We sell fabric in 5cm cuts with a minimum of 0.25 metres. If you order 0.25 metres this will come as a fat quarter (50cm x 55cm). Any amount over this – eg 0.5 metres, will come as the amount you want cut by the width of fabric (eg 50cm x 110cm).

Anna Maria Horner brings a collection of her favourite artists together in a new collaboration called “Anna Maria’s Conservatory.” Anna Maria’s Conservatory is a gathering of beautiful art from uniquely talented artists. This art is then translated onto textiles so that you can create something even more beautiful than ever imagined. English Summer is the third collection in the “Conservatory”, and is designed by Anna Maria Horner.
Anna Maria is curator and lead colorist for Conservatory. She has been designing fabrics exclusively for Free Spirit Fabrics since 2005. Her trademark vivacious fabrics are inspired by her love of nature, fashion and art. Her sense of color keeps her collections new and nostalgic all at once, and her Conservatory fabrics alongside the other artists harmonize everyone for a lovely and diverse presentation.
Anna Maria writes about her inspiration for English Summer: “When I think of England, I will think of flowers– especially after a beautiful Summer stay there last year. Most notable in my journey was the chance to inhabit a small 13th century Oxfordshire cottage that sat on the most beautiful, imperfect, and blossoming garden. Most of the florals in my English Summer collection were inspired by my exploring those grounds as well as my walks around London and Oxford. The mix of prints is meant to share the beauty of those naturalistic florals along with the ethnic and architectural inspirations that convey the special and unique place that is England. The scale and direction of the prints is perfect for fussy cutting quilts and creating beautiful garments and accessories and the palettes can inspire diverse directions towards modern or traditional quilting.”

Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Friday are shipped the same day. Orders placed after 1pm Monday to Friday are shipped the next working day.
Please note that during exceptionally busy times (eg Black Friday sales, birthday sales, etc) orders will take longer to ship than usual.
We ship with Royal Mail both in the UK and internationally. Occasionally for international parcels over UPS we may need to ship with UPS or another company.
We charge a flat rate delivery fee of £3.00 for delivery in the UK for orders less than £45.
Orders over £45 for UK delivery qualify for free shipping.
International orders are charged at a flat rate delivery fee of £10 for shipping worldwide.
Next day delivery is available for a flat rate fee of £9.00.
Local orders can be collected. If your postcode is local the 'Local Pickup' option will be available at checkout. When you receive an email saying your order has been completed this is when it is ready for collection. Parcels can be collected Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
Royal Mail First Class delivery in the UK takes 1-2 working days on average. Royal Mail Second Class delivery in the UK takes 3-5 working days on average.
Royal Mail Next Day Delivery is delivered the next working day before 1pm (some conditions apply).
Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed takes 7-10 days on average. However, parcels are stopped by customs and can take several weeks to clear customs. Your tracking number will be added to your order when it is shipped so you should be able to keep an eye on where your parcel is in the process.
All international orders are NOT charged VAT at checkout and therefore will be stopped at customs and the correct VAT will be charged for your country at that point. We legally have to declare all items in the parcel and the correct invoice total for the parcel.
Please note that this will mean a delay in receiving your parcel as customs can take 1-2 weeks to process a parcel, though it is sometimes faster.

We accept returns of unused, unopened items in saleable condition within 30 days of the order.
We do not accept returns of cut fabric as this has been cut off the bolt specifically for your order.
Please contact us on staff@sewhot.co.uk to let us know if you are returning an item. Return postage is not paid unless the item being returned is faulty or damaged.
We aim to ship all orders placed by 1pm the same day, apart from during busy sale times. Orders are shipped Monday to Friday via Royal Mail. A Local Pickup option is available at checkout for local customers. See the tabs on the left for more detailed shipping and delivery information.
We are always happy to combine, change, or add to orders to help you save on shipping costs.
However, we do ask that you notify us before 12 noon on the day your order is due to ship. After this time it is likely your order will have been packaged and booked for shipping, and we will not be able to change it.
