We sell fabric in 5cm cuts with a minimum of 0.25 metres. If you order 0.25 metres this will come as a fat quarter (50cm x 55cm). Any amount over this – eg 0.5 metres, will come as the amount you want cut by the width of fabric (eg 50cm x 110cm).

Anna Maria Horner brings a collection of her favourite artists together in a new collaboration called “Anna Maria’s Conservatory.” Anna Maria’s Conservatory is a gathering of beautiful art from uniquely talented artists. This art is then translated onto textiles so that you can create something even more beautiful than ever imagined.
Souvenir, by designer Nathalie Lete, is the first collection of the Second Chapter – Portraits – in Conservatory.
Nathalie writes about her inspiration for Souvenir: “I remember the happy days when I was a child walking around the village of my Grandmother in Bavaria, Germany. As a child of the city, the nature of animals, birds, insects, flowers, and mushrooms felt like a new kingdom around me. As much as I was fascinated by all of the diversity of colors, I also enjoyed the discovery. This collection was inspired by the happiness of that time. I hope to inspire quilting happiness in all of you.”
Fabric is 100% quilting weight cotton.
Nathalie Lete was born in 1964. She lives and works in Paris. She works in many ways, mixing different techniques and mediums, illustration, ceramics, textile and painting … She is inspired by her travels, but also by the mixing of vintage toys and old engravings of flowers and animals. Her work is colourful, naive and poetic, sometimes strange, to the point of tending towards art brut. Her world is nurtured by popular and folk art from her both origins (her Chinese father and her German mother). She produces children’s and graphic’s books, knitted and stuffed toys, glass pictures, patterned dishes, but also postcards, ceramic sculptures, silkscreen printed t-shirts, rugs and jewels in limited edition … and also now cotton fabrics!

A code will be emailed to you with your fabric purchase receipt so you can return to the pattern pages and get the pattern for free!
Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Friday are shipped the same day. Orders placed after 1pm Monday to Friday are shipped the next working day.
Please note that during exceptionally busy times (eg Black Friday sales, birthday sales, etc) orders will take longer to ship than usual.
We ship with Royal Mail both in the UK and internationally. Occasionally for international parcels over UPS we may need to ship with UPS or another company.
We charge a flat rate delivery fee of £3.00 for delivery in the UK for orders less than £45.
Orders over £45 for UK delivery qualify for free shipping.
International orders are charged at a flat rate delivery fee of £10 for shipping worldwide.
Next day delivery is available for a flat rate fee of £9.00.
Local orders can be collected. If your postcode is local the 'Local Pickup' option will be available at checkout. When you receive an email saying your order has been completed this is when it is ready for collection. Parcels can be collected Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
Royal Mail First Class delivery in the UK takes 1-2 working days on average. Royal Mail Second Class delivery in the UK takes 3-5 working days on average.
Royal Mail Next Day Delivery is delivered the next working day before 1pm (some conditions apply).
Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed takes 7-10 days on average. However, parcels are stopped by customs and can take several weeks to clear customs. Your tracking number will be added to your order when it is shipped so you should be able to keep an eye on where your parcel is in the process.
All international orders are NOT charged VAT at checkout and therefore will be stopped at customs and the correct VAT will be charged for your country at that point. We legally have to declare all items in the parcel and the correct invoice total for the parcel.
Please note that this will mean a delay in receiving your parcel as customs can take 1-2 weeks to process a parcel, though it is sometimes faster.

We accept returns of unused, unopened items in saleable condition within 30 days of the order.
We do not accept returns of cut fabric as this has been cut off the bolt specifically for your order.
Please contact us on staff@sewhot.co.uk to let us know if you are returning an item. Return postage is not paid unless the item being returned is faulty or damaged.
We aim to ship all orders placed by 1pm the same day, apart from during busy sale times. Orders are shipped Monday to Friday via Royal Mail. A Local Pickup option is available at checkout for local customers. See the tabs on the left for more detailed shipping and delivery information.
We are always happy to combine, change, or add to orders to help you save on shipping costs.
However, we do ask that you notify us before 12 noon on the day your order is due to ship. After this time it is likely your order will have been packaged and booked for shipping, and we will not be able to change it.
