Designed for Temporary Appliqué and Basting. Designed with award-winning quilter Charlotte Warr Andersen, Charlotte’s Fusible Web is a Tex 30 nylon thread which melts when exposed to temperatures ≥ 250° F. Developed for labour-saving sewing, this fusible nylon thread will melt and create a bond between two fabrics. Used in place of fusible web for fusible applique, this means there is no stiff, permanent webbing to deal with.
It is recommended for use in the bobbin with fine thread in the top of the machine. For fusible applique trace pattern onto the front of your fabric, sew just inside the traced line, cut out on the traced line, fuse applique in place on your background fabric, remove top thread, and stitch around your applique as normal to keep in place (eg satin stitch, blanket stitch, etc.)
