Heavy weight stabilizer used for crafts and bowls that is single sided fusible. 20 inches wide, sold by the YARD.
Orders placed before 1pm Monday to Friday are shipped the same day. Orders placed after 1pm Monday to Friday are shipped the next working day.
Please note that during exceptionally busy times (eg Black Friday sales, birthday sales, etc) orders will take longer to ship than usual.
We ship with Royal Mail both in the UK and internationally. Occasionally for international parcels over UPS we may need to ship with UPS or another company.
We charge a flat rate delivery fee of £3.00 for delivery in the UK for orders less than £45.
Orders over £45 for UK delivery qualify for free shipping.
International orders are charged at a flat rate delivery fee of £10 for shipping worldwide.
Next day delivery is available for a flat rate fee of £9.00.
Local orders can be collected. If your postcode is local the 'Local Pickup' option will be available at checkout. When you receive an email saying your order has been completed this is when it is ready for collection. Parcels can be collected Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
Royal Mail First Class delivery in the UK takes 1-2 working days on average. Royal Mail Second Class delivery in the UK takes 3-5 working days on average.
Royal Mail Next Day Delivery is delivered the next working day before 1pm (some conditions apply).
Royal Mail International Tracked and Signed takes 7-10 days on average. However, parcels are stopped by customs and can take several weeks to clear customs. Your tracking number will be added to your order when it is shipped so you should be able to keep an eye on where your parcel is in the process.
All international orders are NOT charged VAT at checkout and therefore will be stopped at customs and the correct VAT will be charged for your country at that point. We legally have to declare all items in the parcel and the correct invoice total for the parcel.
Please note that this will mean a delay in receiving your parcel as customs can take 1-2 weeks to process a parcel, though it is sometimes faster.
Please contact us via phone on 01253 370190 or email staff@sewhot.co.uk with your order number if your order has not arrived. Please allow up to 10 working days for delivery via Royal Mail, especially during busy periods.
We accept returns of unused, unopened items in saleable condition within 30 days of the order.
We do not accept returns of cut fabric as this has been cut off the bolt specifically for your order.
Please contact us on staff@sewhot.co.uk to let us know if you are returning an item. Return postage is not paid unless the item being returned is faulty or damaged.
We aim to ship all orders placed by 1pm the same day, apart from during busy sale times. Orders are shipped Monday to Friday via Royal Mail. A Local Pickup option is available at checkout for local customers. See the tabs on the left for more detailed shipping and delivery information.
We are always happy to combine, change, or add to orders to help you save on shipping costs.
However, we do ask that you notify us before 12 noon on the day your order is due to ship. After this time it is likely your order will have been packaged and booked for shipping, and we will not be able to change it.

This is a good product if you want a firm smooth finish. Not suitable for a floppy bag. Great for clutch wallets especially the flaps. If you overuse it though your fabric will be like a board.

Finally a shop that stocks the interfacings I need! Each type was packaged separately with instructions for use so I don’t have to think which one is which each time I need them! A great idea to keep organised. This stiff interfacing fuses quickly, even on laminated cotton, gives a nice firm and smooth finish and you can even sew through it without breaking a needle. Will definitely be back for more!

Used this for the first time this weekend to add substance to a backpack. It was much easier to fuse than other similar products I have used in the past and gives a really professional finish to the bag. The price on Sew Hot is competitive as always and I will definitely be using this as my stabiliser of preference in the future.

I am yet to use the interfacings i bought. It was my first order and none of interfacing was marked so i have no idea which is which and therefore dont know which one I like most to re-order! Very disappointed by this. I also found there were cut badly, no effort shown to cut them straight. I am yet to work out which one is fusible too as it’s not very easy to work out (except of thin vilene I worked with in the past). I like the company, as it is the only place with wide range of interfacings and other hardware for bags but It would be more helpful if I could identify what I bought. Now I feel like I might be wasting money ordering the wrong type next time 🙁
